Thanks Brian! Thats the input I want to here. I may be working a deal to get some projects in trade for some fab. If that doesnt work out I am going to cnsider the toyos. The 2 highlighted areas are what I see as deciding factors. I didnt dpesn all the time i did building this thing to pamper it. I run hard. I quite litteraly lost one tire to rock and one to a .... 3/8" stick! 6 years no issues com[ared to 2 plug, one blow out and another puncture to fix in 2 trips is easy math in my head.yikes wrote: I've run the street Toy's since 2007. Zero flats. Around 20psi in the dirt. I tend to give them a work out, meaning I don't slow down much for rocks and square edges. For me, they're very confidence inspiring. Burly. Tough. Good street manners. Good in the rocks. Good in the rain. Stable in the dirt at speed. Quiet, even when worn. Balance awesome! Not even running weights or beads in the current set. I never ran Baja T/A's, but I ran BFG A/T's and M/T's for years. My only complaints were the paper thin sidewalls that always got punctured by sharp rocks and 3/8' sticks, and the noisy M/T's after they got some miles on them. I'm sure they've changed over the years (noise). Toyo's are reliable, period. They get you there and get you home. The biggest drawback is the weight. They are a bit heavier than other tires and that's a trade-off that is outweighed by performance, IMO. This doesn't mean flats and damage won't happen, but six years of success do say something to me. I'll take that over the cool single purpose tires any day. If I towed my rig to get there, well then I might have a change of heart.
Anyone know what major distributer that sells toyos and offers a hazard warrantee?
