Haha! He's actually just installing thicker mains (ala Q80) and adding 1 leaf. They already have 11. I feel that with the giant kit 18s are better than 16s and much simpler to mount and tune. I have never installed that combo on a bronco but have on a truck and I liked it much better than the one I built later on with 16s. On both setups I built my own shackles but the rest was giant. I will also say I never encountered an issue with the shock riding in the bump zone.
I spoke to geoff from giant at length about the 64 kit and he helped me a lot. The springs just cycle differently, they ramp a bit slower but along a flatter curve, they have a lot of preload and a.bunch of other differences. he basically told me the 64 is a race pack all the way, the rest are prerunner packs. That was dealing with a ranger but likely the same holds true for the.most part with the bronco. Which is better or worth it i dont know it depends on the use and budget
