Haha! He's actually just installing thicker mains (ala Q80) and adding 1 leaf. They already have 11. But my first post sounded much cooler, so....Mad Bumpin with the FC YO!

Naw Tony, pretty sure the 8000s have the whoop thrusters to help to keep you floating across the top

Has anyone ran shocks under the bed and through the bed on the same truck and want to share there thoughts on the the setups. Pros/cons of each

Pretty much this:

Running the shocks thru the floor allows them to run almost vertical and use the full length to dampen and makes it easier to valve and tune by better motion ratio, rather than the angle mounting underneath reducing the shaft and valve speed at full compression. Moving them outboard allows better wheel control and like Steve said, keeps the cargo area clearer.
Shocks under the cab can be made to work well, but it's a bit tougher to do, due to the motion ration.

I feel that with the giant kit 18s are better than 16s and much simpler to mount and tune. I have never installed that combo on a bronco but have on a truck and I liked it much better than the one I built later on with 16s. On both setups I built my own shackles but the rest was giant. I will also say I never encountered an issue with the shock riding in the bump zone.

I spoke to geoff from giant at length about the 64 kit and he helped me a lot. The springs just cycle differently, they ramp a bit slower but along a flatter curve, they have a lot of preload and a.bunch of other differences. he basically told me the 64 is a race pack all the way, the rest are prerunner packs. That was dealing with a ranger but likely the same holds true for the.most part with the bronco. Which is better or worth it i dont know it depends on the use and budget
