It s too wet for pictures, so far i cut off the corner of the heater box, cut some reliefs in the fender liner along the edge where it would fasten to the stock fender lip, unbolted the battery tray from the fender and shoved the liner up.
Then i strung tie wraps through here and there to hold it up. Now i have to make up some mounting tabs, and a one inch block for the battery tray, plus some tubing to stiffen it all up. I forgot to get bolts so need to pick them up too.
These fenders seem to have an abnormally high arch, so i had to really fight , now the other side has less in the way, there s more on the drivers side , but less actually in the way, so it should go way faster, now that i know where to hack, umm cut.
The rain stopped so i snapped a pic, this is just in place to see if it would go, you can see the relief cuts in the liner, i think the next is to get a tube or something on that cut radius, get a few bits tacked up and pull it to weld it up and paint the inner framework.
