The silicon bronze works really well for thick to thin metal joining because it's soft a flexes. It absorbs the flex of everything a chassis absorbs. Since your cab and frame are still separate those joints will not see as much movement which would cause cracking. It's kinda like welding to hydro formed heat treated frames... you are not supposed to do it in theory, but there is hundreds of trucks built that way without problems.
Got it! Thats awesome... only thing to ask here..... My frame and the cage will be mounted to the body with poly mounts. Any issue?
