Finally finished up the burb and got started on the Bronco again. Opened up the holes in the pitman and swinger to .6250, then turned .027 off of the misalignment bushings for a nice snug fit. Progress will be slow as usual, but the Bronco has to be back online for a June family vacation, so...motivation!

We're going to June Lake again. Kids had a blast there the last time. Planning to spend a day at Bodie and take the tour this time. Fishin, ghost towns, campfires, smores, rc cars and good times! Can't wait. My oldest is graduating, so this won't happen much more with all of us.

Burb is doing great. The replacement spiders have fewer and bigger teeth, so they should hold up better. Trying some of that super duper Redline synthetic in it as well. It's got a 150k and hopefully it will go 250.

I think I've got 4-4.5 hours in the machine shop so far. Shortened four of the bolts and milled flats on the bungs this evening. Knuckles are next.

looks good. I was just looking at the bungs I have for the crew tie rod the other night & figuring how to best secure them in the mill to do some flat spots in them.

Got the front end ready this morning. Taking the knuckles to the shop right now to bore the holes for the bolts.

I'm pretty sure he is just keeping the adapters in the spares on the truck in case he ever has to replace a knuckle with a stock one to get home.

Not gonna lie...I'm a bit nervous about them. They look really nice, but I don't know the specific material type/quality used or what they're heat treated to. They'll be great back-ups for the tool bag. Decided to go double shear and if there's enough clearance, just going to run a 3/4" bolt with spacers to keep it simple. Overkill on size, but again, simple.

Don't recall seeing any in a configuration that I liked. Knew I could trust the thread quality on the Kartek stuff.
