Being upside down on the other side of the earth is making your brains mushy Rod.

You're thinking James with the raptor. I was talking Andy = SilverSLK or Slvrslk or however he spells it and Will = Becks_Bronco (now Heep).

Hey Chris,
First, thanks... second, the process I used to weld the cast material was to heavily tack the parts in place, then preheat the knuckles with an rosebud to about 500°F making sure it was evenly heated throughout the entire piece. You also have to ensure you are working in a draft free environment to avoid any differential cooling. I then completed welded the knuckle... the welding process kept the part in the 400°-450°F range. I then let the piece cool naturally which took about 4-hours. The results were pretty good... no cracks and good, clean welds.

Hey Ryan,
Thanks... unfortunatly, it's not looking good for next weekend. It looks like I'm going to be out of town and will be unavailable.

Not necessarily, A couple of the shops we use only do regular (type 2). For hard ano I would recommend Symcoat.

They may not be the cheapest, but they won't fuck up your parts...........

I know we used a certain place when I worked at All American Racers. I'll find out if you want. I'm guessing if it's good enough for them.......it should be fine for us.

I spent the most greater part of the day in the shop and I got my new brakes installed. And the best part... they work GREAT! I'm not happy with the brake lines so I'm going to reroute them tomorrow.

I was thinking the same thing, as much as this truck is art in metal, it's 100% function.
