Yep, front bracket was on for a test fit. They will all get powdercoated this week and I should get the back end on this weekend!

The digital protractor came with the Wilson dies when we bought our new press brake. I believe it is a Wixley that they rebranded.

Type "Wixey Digital Protractor" into google. We have the 3, 8, and 18" versions. The 18" is awesome for tube work.

I figured that thing would be cool for tubework. I'd probably get the small one like you have & make a bolt on extension for it.

*edit* - had a quick search online & this looked cheap & cool in case anyone else was interested.

They work better and make less noise with bushings.

Got everything painted this weekend. I need a couple more bushings then I can put it all together. Got the motor buttoned up, just need to weld the bungs to the valve covers for the PCV system.

Looking good! Those DUIs are a tight fit, but it looks like you are good. The 71 Bronco had a single plane and a DUI and I had to do some creative manifold work to get it to time.

Will those plug wires clear your headers?

I never gave that any thought so I hope so! I will be fabbing the headers, and right now the plan is to go up and back to the firewall and then dump down. I should be able to use these but if not I'll have a good deal on some new/used wires.

Rear axle is hung! Still need to install snouts and a fill cap/breather. I think it almost looks cool enough to make me forget how much I hate leaf springs!

Wow, that looks great... nice job! Although, one thing, you may have a problem with those U-bolts... they may not be long enough. :D  :D

Yes, they are long, but you will notice I only tightened one so I should be OK.

I see Eddy Victor heads, whats the rest of your set-up on the engine? Also what size headers are you building and have you given any thought to tri-y design?

I bought all the material a while back, but if memory serves I went with 1.75" tubing. The plan is to head back and up, then dump down along the firewall.

The rest of the motor is basically .030 over stock bottom with new pistons, a motorsports cam (don't remember the specs, I have them saved somewhere) Victor junior heads/intake. C&J carb.
