Without... I will post in the parts but if anyone needs a stock bumper with brackets it is yours if you will donate some $$'s to the wounded warrior fundrasier. Also goes for the 8.8 rear end, springs and coils, buckets etc. The knuckles, hubs and rotors are spoken for but all else will be listed in the parts as stuff I pull off is open for grabs just paypal some coin to Steve G.

Yeah I'm hoping to hammer hard for the next 5 days and get most of the change over complete. Once the front is naked I will need a little input on the best location for my shock mounts. I am re-using Randy(HTO's) spirit racing coil buckets and I will fab up some new upper mounts on the upright risers for my 10" SAW's.

I got the springs from Kritter and he had used the inserts so I just put them back in the springs. I may need to add some more material to fill the coil at ride height once I cycle everything.

Big surpise came when I pulled the pumpkin and it was an OEM Dana factory limited slip 3.54 and it is very clean. This will be up for donation to the wounded warrior project. I am sure that it would be valuable to someone here or someone on FSB let's see how much it can bring for the good cause.

Bob, what a cool buildup man! This one will be subscribed to for sure. How many teardowns have you done and what travel #'s are you looking for front/rear? is 16/16" about right for you?

James, I'm poppin' my cherry on this one. I've built hot rods and harleys for years, but I have always liked the Broncos and a multi-purpose rig is very appealing. I don't really have a set travel target(14-16" is where it may net out) I just want the Bronco to be reliable/capable and fun to play with and a little forgiving if my self discipline goes away....

Oh and one more pic there just has to be one rivet that refuses to yield. I will use more aggresive removal means in the AM.

Mocked up one side get an idea for placement and preparing for drilling and fasteners. Question now is shock mount orientation. The location will be behind the bucket with the lower mount positioned on top of the radius arm to keep the shock body positioned 1/2"-3/4" from the rear of the bucket body and frame surface.

Is it best to set mounts at full extension, compression or an estimated ride height????? and is my planned clearance satisfactory?

What is your reasoning for putting the shock behind the bucket?

Most with single shock setups run it in front. I don't have enough knowledge to tell you why, but i believe it has more leverage that way.

Just curious.
