Really looking forward to the suede and NO MORE BROWN. Actually Brad was more than accommodating when we dropped the seats off and went back and forth with fabrics & colors. He spent a good hour with us.....me being colorblind and Paige calling the architecture shots......little by little it's coming together.

Im also color blind, funny the reaction you get from people when you a tell them. Lol! I remember one womans reaction " Oh honey I'm so sorry" . Hahahaaa, Umm its okayyyy I just don't see the same color as you? funny to me.

We're still moving.....Spirit is supposed to complete therir work on Jim & Paige's Bronco today and tranfer it to Evan for wiring. If all goes as planned we'll roll back down there on the 18th to bring her home. The switch and radio/gauge boxes were finished yesterday and dropped off for powder coating:

Sorry Robert......I forgot to answer but the following tells a better story.

Jim & Paige's Bronco is back from El Cajon with a TTB rehab and new wiring/accessories. Still a bit of wiring to land and reassembly of the center console. GFB's own WrightRacing David reworked the race radio and tuned us up there. Evan Sickels did the bulk of the wiring as well as the fab of the switch boxes I gave him. The 81 D44 bolt-on third member is in, as are the Synergy ball joints and a small pile of bearings, joints, seals and everything else serviceable in the TTB.

Synergy showed their customer service skills aloing the way. Jeremy at Spirit called me to say one of the three ball joints was bad when they took it to alignment. I called Poly Performance where we bought the Synergy and they were useless. I called Synergy immediately after and they send a replacement direct to Spirit......no questions asked. It arrived the next day and was replaced - problem solved. The installation and realignment cost me a few bucks as a result, but it's just part of custom parts so i'm over it.

This morning we wrapped up a few things, put the seats in, put the steering wheel on and took to the dirt.

The left side switch box needs adjustment that Evan didn't have time to do so it will sit level to the radio/gauge box........damn Mexicali tube bender:

Phase 1 is basically complete so Paige and I took it out for a thrash in the dirt today. She made me turn down the A/C because it got too cold. I'll be under it in a little while to check things out but all ran perfect and worked perfect. We took some speed runs in and out of 4x4 and then I couldn't resist. Paige said please no but I'm not a good listener. I told her it was strictly a safety check that we had to load the TTB and the transfercase so we don't get stranded at Huckfest and have to spend the night out in the dunes while the rest of the GFB crew drink all of the margaritas.













Ford Bronco......there is no substitute.

Not even one slip of a tire. Flexy Bronco suspension, 4.88's in low range, 38" GSA's and a spool in the 9" are ready to take on any Jeep. Well.....almost any reasonable Jeep. This pup can climb!

The Bronco was nice to see in person and is a nice build. It makes me want to work on my Bronco so bad. It seems I am working on others toys more than my own. The switch box and housing for the radio head turned out nice.

You guy's are going to have fun in the Bronco.
