You could fiberglass in the rear side windows and have those diamond shaped windows put in. The ones that bulge out. Then a bitchen fire dragon fighting a half naked chick wizard airbrushed on the tailgate. Someone need to photoshop that.

too late, im already mocking that up on my bronk. the witch is on a cliff side to with mordor in the back ground and goblins are near! oh and my girl is 3/4 naked...

Nice, do you ever run into the dimple die bending the part with the holes so close together? Do you use a hole saw? On anything smaller than a 1.5" I have been using a punch. I have come to dislike hole saws lately, after I chunked one in the notcher. The last bumper I did, I plasma cut the notches. That is a whole thread on its own about notching.

Well when I dimple a piece and it turns it into a big curve-- I take the "female" part of the die and re-press the part flat again. It makes the part almost flat enough if not perfectly flat again.

Ya, I basically use a big moving blanket rolled up on big piece to soft bend it back to flat. Almost like a slip roller.

Add more pressure if it starts to taco. Mines a 20 ton press and I get 1/8th cr perfectly flat. Anything thicker my press is too weak for the desired effect. ( wont give full impression and tacos) I use a combo of hole saws, or greenlee knockouts. If I were rich n famous I'd buy the mittler bros set. The mittler set punches and flares via a bolt same as a greenlee knockout. Pretty bad ass but nearly 900$. They also have triangle and square punch flares.

Just use the female end and press it against a flat base after your done with the dimple, if that makes sense.

So I got that side pictured welded in last night, silicon bronze makes crappy beads I must say, but the door weatherstrip covers the weld thank God. Replacement carpet kit showed up yesterday also. Quality looks fairly decent, we'll see how it fits.

Good - I thought I was the only one. I guess not. That stuff just mushes around vs. laying down nice & flat like steel.

No your not alone. The beads can be somewhat decent but its far from a stack of dimes, more like a stack of lumps. But it dosnt look too bad if you wire brush it after. Hard to make it not lumpy though. Good thing is that you can come back n re-melt the high spots and you can't tell. In my case I was doing it vertically so it was even harder. Just seems the melt point is so low you work the previous bead when your a waise away from it.

All of the above sounds like my experience & what I've done.

I did a bunch of welding with the stuff years ago when I was actually working on my ranger.

I could get the stuff to look acceptable/decent, but never "great"

I'm not really going to do anything with that yet, I'm going to do 2 hoops from side to side for the front seats to mount to once I get my seats.
