Re: 94 Raptor killer
I pushed the rear back 1.5" so I had to get a longer drive shaft but that is it. It's basically the 18" most guys are getting plus 3" of up from the notch.

Re: 94 Raptor killer
If you have access where your steering swinger mounts You should weld the two C's of the chassis together. Mine started pulling apart after a while, and i had to port o power it straight, and weld it.

72.5", 7" over stock. I am not sure what Im gonna do for bedside. I heard fiberwerx is coming out with 5" flare this summer and McNeil has 6". I like the way the McNeil ones look I just dont know if 6" is to much. Anyone need 3" bedside? I mounted them and never ran it.

Re: 94 Raptor killer
I have to rework the upper limit strap mount cause its binding at full bump everything else is dialed. 3" bedsides are going to Economig and Mcneils 6" are on order to replace them.
Just a little wide for the 3" quareters

Full tuck with the fenders out of the way

New upper limit mount

Re: 94 Raptor killer
The straps mount on the top of the axle and the bottom of the frame behind the notch. So when it goesto full bump the upper tabs are below the axle tabs and the strap binds on the truss. Its kinda hard to explain or picture with out seeing it. Easy fix, i'm going re do the upper mount with a heim on the inside of the frame rail. The double picture was suposed to be one of the new upper mounts I started I will fix the post later today.D1cker1 wrote:are the straps binding or the U Joint/axles?

Re: 94 Raptor killer
Limit strap version 3.0 complete. The upper mount is on a hiem just in from of the notch lot more room to tuck out of the way. I also went with a 2" longer strap. Pulling the rearend tonight for dis-assembly, paint and final assembly. We got the resivours mounted a swell.

Re: 94 Raptor killer
Got some work done today. Buttoned up everything on the rear end. Just needs braked bled and diff fluid. Finished the tranny crossmember. I still want to tie in the suspension mounts eventually but I want to drive it more. I also made a mount for a universal guage cluster for tranny and oil temp. Sorry my cell pics arent great I will take some better ones.
