You're gonna need 3 men and a boy to hold those things up, while you bolt them on!

These springs are stiff! It's lifting the frame off the jack stands about 4" too soon.

Not really, where you are jacking up from will have a different leverage ratio than when it sits on the tires. Also looks like you could use a tender spring in it.........

Nope. Not gonna have it there. I exceeded budget, so it's gonna be slow going getting some things to finish it up.

The pictures are misleading, but I considered that. That 4" was when it was on the tire. Still doesn't mean anything at this point, but yeah a tender may well be in order. Hopefully I'll be able to find something that will work.

Brain, have you done the math on those coils to see what spring rate they have? What is the inside diameter, wire thickness, and length of wire?

Brain?! Really Philo? Haha! No, I haven't. I don't have the brain for that. Pun intended. I'm a good measurererer though. Have you got a handy spring rate calculator? If I recall correctly, Steve indicated they are 350lb, but I could be wrong.

My hands are not synchronized very well... got the letters out of order. I've got to slow down on typing. Maybe less energy drinks... who knows.

I've got the formula in a couple of books I have, I'll check when I get home. This one might work ok till then:

That doesn't sound right. Maybe those are giant air shocks... Lol.

Another way to tell is to measure the spring height uncompressed and then with the vehicles weight on it. Then figure the motion ratio from the known corner weight. This assumes you have that info...
