Outstanding Run! Knocked out about 140 miles in the dirt. Guard, Body Panel, my buddy Dave Turner in his H&M F150, HotRodz on his KTM 530 and I had a great day blasting around the desert. Rodney gets the tuff guy award for doing it on a bike. He headed back to Plaster City from the Salton Sea. We finished out by running the last 40 or so miles at dark. Man do I need some lights! I really wanted to do the pyramid feature at the obstacle course but my shocks were too full of nitrogen to get the proper bounce off the top so I'll have to save that for another day. I gotta say, You Tube just doesn't do that thing justice. Freaking GNARLEY!

Rob and I are thinking about a moto/truck trip to Baja in the very near future if anyone is interested. Want to keep is simple. Considering something like Tecate to La Rumorosa, across Laguna Saldada to San Felipe. Late February, early March? Willing for work around race schedules if somebody has a conflict but really wants to go. Just throwing it out there...

One last thing, I just want to say thank you to the the founders, developers and hosts of this site. I really appreciate the atmosphere you have created here. Little to no drama, solid technical information (mostly) and just a great place to connect with some really great people. It is a privilege to be a part of such a fantastic community.

Great trip, lots of fun. High lighted a lot of things I need to fix/upgrade on my truck. Went duning the next day only to drop my exhaust system. I am up for Mexico, I will have new/rebuilt tans, Auto fab front end, and a balanced drive shaft. I promise I will be able to maintain highway speeds.

Hmm.... were you guys thinking about working this run in with the SF 250? I was actually looking at the second weekend so we could do some driving. I pictured more of a driving/riding/taco eating trip rather than a race chasing spectating trip. I don't believe we could complete a loop from La Rumorosa on a race weekend. What does everybody think? Won't hurt my feelings if we are not on the same page. Just wanted to clarify what kind of trip we were all expecting. I know some of you only go for the races, I kind of prefer the non race weekends. I really prefer mid-week trips but I know that is though to schedule for most. All Baja-All good. If there is any further interest we can start another thread.
