Saw this the other day. F250 power stroke. The thing that was neat was Crew cab with a short bed. Looks so good.

I saw this crazy truck the other day and I'm shooting myself in the foot for not snapping a picture of it. It was a 70s F350 crew cab. The crazy part was that it had one of those mini beds for hauling 5th wheels. The ones that are half as long and half as high. That's what caught my eye at first. I was talking to the guy and he said it had a factory turbo diesel (in the 70s on a ford?!) with 4 exhaust tips. 2 turned up and 2 side exits. He said it all came like that from the dealer and there were only 12 made. I can't even find pictures on google. Maybe chasetruck has some.

Nope. No pics. "factory" diesels are a chupabra type deal = some believe they exist, many that they don't and the only pics that "prove" they do are disputed as being fake.

My stance on it = diesels weren't factory at all, but rather a company that would retrofit for certain dealerships. Swap would be done when truck was new & before sold at the dealer, but it is by no means "factory"

Similar to Centurians, sold new at dealerships but not a factory vehicle. Well, at least not Ford's factory.......

It was a dealer option, just like lift kits and big tires many dealers offer now. And Chupocabra's are real

I was going through some old pics and found this Oregon Bronco. Took the pic in June of 09 down here in El Centro...guessing it was going to Baja 500.

Now it has dents fixed and has new paint an no stripes. Pic later when we get back from Out US Xmas vacation.
Yes, it goes to all the Mx races as possible.

Stretch is bragged to be 18", but I really should measure and average right and left for a good number. Bet you thought they would be the same?
It all started in 2003 with an Imperial valley '96 Bronco with 91k on the speedo 33' tires and a lift kit. Now it has 130k+ mostly off road.
Sigh -- I am working on a build story to collects all the stuff that has already been posted plus all the stuff on my hard drive. Then I have to drag up all the stuff on the FSB forum to make it complete. This truck has extensive history and I wanted it to be complete. Some of you may remember it was a multi stage build. It started with Spirit front and leaf rear that Jeremy still sells. Then it got stretched by the master, Glen at Complete Fab and now has a 4 link and coil overs in the rear. New steering was added. Fuel tank iteration that settled in a 32main and 20+ aux with manual transfer with accurate gauges for both. Next summer it will get a proper gauge package in a minimalist manner that will get rid of the various temporary gauges I installed for testing. Mostly just discard junk I have had for many years of custom stuff I did back when (Ha have you ever looked at the gauges we used in the 70s compared to what we see all the time now days).
Along the way was normal breakage and upgrades. The whole thing started
So you will have to wait for all the gritty details.
