Similar to molex pin crimpers? If so orvac or marvac 10-15bucks

These are the ones I used. They dont look so bad in person, the flash made it look horrible.

Yup those are molex crimpers, those guys are cheap at orvac with no brand name on em, I have an identical pair for crimping pins for haas machine connectors aka molex. There's better ones out there but those work great. Just be sure to line up the sleeve ears ( the parts of the pin that get bent into a 180 back onto the insulation).

I only paid around $20 on my Weather Pak crimper. I use them on the Race Radio power connectors and replace old Molex plugs. I also use them on my lights.

I will be doing a complete new rewire on my Bronco and I found a label maker that prints on heat shrink. has any used them and do they last. I like the idea of labels with clear heat shrink.

I do a lot of wiring for intercoms and Race Radios. For several years I have been using a Harbor Freight Micro Torch. For under $9 it was worth trying. Runs on butane and after several years it has been a rare tool from HF that has lasted. I know I should just get a heat gun. I have one old loud one that is like a old hair dryer, just easy to use the torch.

I'd never used the clear heat-shrink and label trick.... I ordered a bunch of adhesive-lined tubing from Waytek for work recently and tried it out.

We print on heat shrink at work and cover it with the clear. A lot of it ends up in marine/off shore drilling applications. The stuff has a pretty hard life and it holds up well.

Ok guys I have a question for the more experienced electricians out there.

I have a set of daytime running lights. And I have a set of rear dust lights.

Dust lights are switched and are for off road use only, they have a wigwag hooked to them. Here's where my question comes into play.

I would like my DRL's to come on with switched power. BUT.... I would like to be able to control the DRL's when I switch on my dust lights.

I'm not sure if any of this makes sense. It makes sense in my head. I just can't figure out what kind if relay I need.

Hey Jose I'll look for the diagram but sounds similar to wiring back up lights to either be switched or turned on when you go in reverse

I try to use all FoMoCo connectors but one of my suppliers gives me a great deal on the Delphi stuff so I've been stocking up.
