Oh, we're heading down on Thursday and staying at HPR the first night and then prepositioning early Friday morning. Not sure where we'll be on Fri... most likely heading back on Saturday. Can't wait!

Just got back yesterday from prerunning the south section of the course... ran from Gonzaga to RM500/hwy 1 crossing. We ran the course twice and had an absolutely FANTASTIC time. Minty did good, got a good read on the course, marked a few hazards and we had the most spectacular weather... great time.

Not sure where we'll be quite yet... looks like we may chase from Coco's to RM500 for the Parkhouse class 1 buggy...

Sounds like a killer time Tom.......

The BFG pits and relay have always been great to us. Be it in the Class 1, 5, 8 and even when one of our Motorcycles needed help. All are A1 classy Guys and Gals. Thanks

Rob, we'll be setting up thursdayafternoon because the first four wheeler should hit us about 10:30 Friday am. The racers come at us wide open and there's a 90 degree left across from our pit that gets wild. Welcome to camp with us thursday night if anyone wants.

Greg, I might just do that. Location sounds cool and I could watch them come through the pit, then run down and watch the action through El Borrego with a easy return to Mexicali Friday night.

Excellent!! Come on down! Hearing from my Pit Captain Jeremy Spirkoff that BFG 1 isn't in the normal Baja 500 location, but it is nearby and in from highway Kilometer Post 79. The pit area we are moving to for the inbound last BFG pit is near KM 84-85. We'll be moving there late Friday afternoon.
Hearing conflicting reports on the exact KM posts, but they will be close to that Can't find us, come up on BFG freq. and hopefully we have our ears on. Will try to get more exact KM numbers by early next week.

Word is it's right off the highway and easy to find even if the hwy KM post is off some.

Pit one is at KM 79 on the hwy and our second pit, pit 7 is off the hwy a ways at KM 90.
Man is it getting close!!!!!!!!!! Sucks not leaving until Tuesday while watching rigs pass through Bishop obviously headed down! Haha.

I know how you feel. I crossed the border today to drop off Race Radio's and some pit stuff. A bunch of guys crossing and I saw a couple guys in the long line that looked like they had put in some hard miles prerunning. I felt sorry for them in the 2hr wait line. Because I live so close I got my Sentri card. Today it was about 15 minutes to get back to the US.

Remember to get insurance! My greatest fear is getting down there and having an accident without Mex insurance.

Hearing that access to BFG pit 7 is actually closer to KM 85 on hwy 3 than what I earlier posted. Regardless of which is correct, bet it will be easy to find on race day with all the traffic. Have fun and be safe.
