95 f150 4x4
Fixing to start my 1st prerunner build, been building trucks for years and this is a style i've wanted to build since i was a kid. This was originally my wifes truck but now its time for its second make over. Did a sas swap about 6 yrs ago and drove the hell out of it, was rolled in my back yard on a b-day party one year and it just keeps going. I'll try to post pics as progress comes, plans are straighten out body, FiberwerX front fenders, paint, and new 35s to start with.

Re: 95 f150 4x4
I think its going to be pretty cool, there are no prerunners around here at all that ive seen, but quite a few raptors though. I did find a half built bronco that had a giant motorsports 4 inch over beams, arms, coilovers and a full cage with racing seats, solid body, brand new toyo 35s and wheels with fiberglass up front for 1500 and drove it on the trailer....i passed that deal on to my boss, but thats what started all this.

Re: 95 f150 4x4
From what i've read it looks like a 1inch uniball cause it slides into where the original bushing goes, any one recommend a place to get them from

Re: 95 f150 4x4
You can get them at Kartek or Mackenzies, (actually a lot of places but those two come to mind) most use a 1" uniball. You will have to hole saw out the old bushing/sleeve then weld in the cup.steve-oh wrote:From what i've read it looks like a 1inch uniball cause it slides into where the original bushing goes, any one recommend a place to get them from

Autofab has a good rep for glass. Travisfab on here is in the business to so maybe he'll chime in.steve-oh wrote:Ill check those places out. Re: 95 f150 4x4
Next step is to grab so coilovers was thinking some 12s any advantage going to 14s? Doing cut and turned beams, 35s and keeping the a/c.

Re: 95 f150 4x4
You could fit either one with ac. You would just gain more down travel within the limitations of your steering. Not sure what u plan on running in the steering dept so not sure an advantage of 14's over 12's. if u run swingset style u can utilize either. Without swingset your travel will be dependent on the max angle the balljoints can handle.steve-oh wrote:Next step is to grab so coilovers was thinking some 12s any advantage going to 14s?
