New fiberglass from McQueen prototype

Post by Tchajagos »

I have seen his ranger glass and it looked really good. He has recently made some glass for 92-96 f150/broncos and its really wide but looks pretty good.

Id like to see it up close. I like the flat tops and how it transitions cleanly around the front of the hood to the fenders. Keeps a clean line all the way around.
Here is a pic of the ranger glass.

He does nice work.

Not digging the line/indent that follows the wheel arch, but that's just me. It would add "structure" to the design, so maybe that's why he did it.

I like it but unless you have 4" over beams it would look terrible.

Im liking the hood but not digging next to the corner markers. Like a 6" flat and looks like butt to me. Maybe if you could widen the grill and move the headlight assm out. Also look how the very front of the fender above the lights doesnt line up with the hood.

I agree with jd fab, that blank area near the corner light needs to be narrowed or more streamlined, and I got news for u guys by the look of it u would need 6" over beams to make it look right, I have 4.5 beams and with a 3.5 flare they tuck fine and are only about an inch outside the fenders edge. They look similar to hanneman style ( trying to remain too factory). I'm not sold at this point, someone needs to make a smooth lined 4 inch flair drop center one piece, that I would buy.

I just checked out there site. Think im getting the hood, $400 for the supported model. The truck pictured is sporting 39" rubber.

I'm thinking if it had that lower valance like on the ranger it would clean up that lower front area and make it look better. It does look incomplete.

I think that indent is his style. Like the terrible herbst trophy truck. As well as the part around the headlights. Seems to be his style.

It could be the paint color making a shadow, that flat area at the bottom right of the grill, above the straight area below the eyebrow, I do like the eyebrow and the flat body line though. Just not the blank area between, I'd cut it higher n radius in to the grill from the front edge of the wheel opening not just end it flat in bottom front edge like that.

If you're BA enough to run 39's it's probably my favorite glass.

Great to see more options out there. I want to see an overall shot of the truck. I'm thinking 35's would look tiny with these fenders.

If they made one the same style but 2 maybe 3 inches less flare I'd get em!

I planned to run this glass on my bronco build. I have 4.5 over beams and was wondering if it would be okay using this glass as the flares are pretty larger. Good to know they offer a smaller flare. I am looking forward to see what his rear glass is going to look like. He build quality stuff from what I have seen in the past.

I'm pretty sure the pictured flares are their 8 inch. And they have a 6 inch flare, I'm sure if your beams are 4.5 over you should be able to fill the 6 inch flares. I'm not 100% on that but email mike he responds and is a super great guy !
