Thanks guys!! Like I said the leg is getting better. The doc just gave me another 4 weeks off work. But gave me the ok to put full weight on it and start physical therapy.

So I've been hobbling around a little. Went into the garage and cleaned up a little. The rolled around on the creeper to start mocking up rear shock mount. It's all mocked up and tacked just have to burn it all together.

I quit when I did and didn't finish because i burned the crap out of myself. I was brutally reminded how much I hate mig welding and how much I miss my tig.

Thanks again guys
Jose

Ok so I mounted my rear shocks. I am reminded that I haven't mig welded in a while. And I sucked then and I suck now. I am for sure a fair weather welder. On any bench with my little stool I can put down the nicest looking welds, any day any time. But put me on my back, or in any uncomfortable position and I suck major ass.

Which brings me to my first pic.

Had to measure for limit straps. Maxed out my jack. Had a long piece of 4x4 even. I still couldn't get it high enough. This will have to be close enough. For now.

Which brings me to my next bitch. I miss having my own shop to do this kind of work in. I hate not having all my tools!! Ugh!!

Took the fam out to mess around out at calico ghost town. It was our first time out there. Everything went well, it was a fun trip. We saw a few sites. Then messed around in barstow on the way home.

Thanks guys, calico was pretty cool. The girls had fun. I actually went most of the day with the a/c on before I even noticed it. Haha. I usually turn the a/c off when I'm Offroad.

@Josh. We are actually discussing next weekend right now. We may end up at the lake. I wanted to do a night run in ocotillo. I guess we will see.

So we went out to borrego springs yesterday and today. The trip was pretty awesome. No major issues with the bronco at all. We did some exploring and saw some new things we haven't seen before.

Pic heavy so be patient with this tapatalk.
