Off-Road Light Beam Photos-Add yours...

Post by SteveG »

Feel free to add your own.

Light info: Two OLD Rally 2000 Euro Beams and two OLD Rally 2000 Pencil beams, all with 100 watt bulbs. Powered by a 12v continuous duty solenoid which works way better and is much simpler than the two Bosch relays I used to have for them.

Photo info: Starting with the daytime photo, I set my camera to manual and adjusted the shutter timer until the scene in the photo looked the same as viewing it with the naked eye. I repeated for the night shots.

FYI: The shed in the photos is 30 yards away, the ground is not flat... slopes up to the shed.

Disclaimer: These are not 100% accurate. but they are a half-ass decent representation of the lights' performance. In other words, this post is worth exactly what you paid me for it. Also, if, as a result of this post, you have an erection that lasts over 4 hours, call someone that cares.

Any comparison shots to the HID's Tony? Did the HID's pull more amps or does the LED light bar pull more.
