It was bad. Deffinately a mudder in its past life. Every time I hit it with a hammer chunks of mud would fall outta some where. It's far from as clean as yours but it'll get there someday.

Great took it around the block a few weeks ago, plan on taking it out to plaster city some time this month or early feb. but my trailer needs new tires first...want to take it down for the SF 250 as well, we got room if you and Jeff plan on going and need a place to crash.

Panelling is almost done! Just a little more finessing and a whole lot of welding!

Thanks guys! Fortunately I have a tig, mig and a buddy to help. I am gonna buzz buzz all the sheet metal/sheet metal seams, grind them and my buddy is gonna tig all the sheet to tubing so it looks nice. Weld Party!!!! Im really happy with how it is coming out.

Has any body used Al's liner?

I saw it in off road this month, researched it and it looks pretty cool. You can get a heat and noise reducer additive as well to further the insulation. I am thinking of shooting the inside and the outer fenderwells as well. Any thoughts?

I've reasearched for a while & believe I will be using Al's Liner. It would be great for the fenderwells I think.

One thing to consider is it is not fire rated like Lizard Skin is, so IF the thing catches fire there are some poisonous fumes. This is the one thing that is drawing me more towards Lizard skin (and also their heat protection with their heat control type coating), but currently my thought is Lizard skin for the underside of the cab & bed with Al's liner on the inner fenders, inside of bed & inside of cab.
