So it looks like Tony is ahead of everyone else.



... This just in.. it appears theres a picture floating around of Tony doing crucial performance work on his Bronco while moving, a clear violation of SCORE's rules... but allowed under BajaHID Excursion rules. No word yet on how this has anything to do with the voting.

LMAO. But in Tony's defense he didn't teflon coat the Bronco during the BajaHID Excursion Run so no penalty will be imposed.

After careful review I have determined that Tony did not run through anyone's camp and since there is no way of proving if the Bronco was teflon coated, Tony is the Official Overall winner in the BajaHID Excursion.

Chris and Agui however have been penalized with a 90 minute penalty for being 90 minutes late to the start at Tom's house and have also been DQ'd from first round of tacos for fueling on the side of the highway in White Lightning.

Andy get's a 10 minute award for nerfing a truck. John at AUTOFAB is declared the Official Badass for man handling the Spare Parts Truck F100 through the Compadre Trail after losing power steering a few miles outside Ojos Negros and still beating everyone to town with enough time to find a repair shop and get the pump replaced and then grab a bite to eat and wait outside patiently with a nice cold beer before anyone else got into town. On day 2 John lost his front brakes and kept going with only rear brakes to slow him down. Definitely worthy of a Chuck Norris Award!

Philo is the Official Ironman of the BajaHID Excursion for 2012 since he logged way more miles than anyone else the whole weekend and still drove his Bronco hard through Baja like it's supposed to, with 37's no less, and all while rowing through the gears with his M5R2 5-speed.

Tom Webber wins the Official Overall Coolest Truck of The Year having suffered no mechanical issues at all in the last two BajaHID Excursions.

Interior doesn't count since technically everything is stationary in the interior while moving which means it's not moving.... Unless it's under hard braking. At that point it's just showing off if you can detail the interior while checking up and warrant's no penalty.

Everytime I try to check out FSB (specifically for the FOTY thread) it takes way too long for the page to load. It's only FSB where this happens since everything else I use works flawlessly (GFB, RDC, craigslist, occasional DR, youtube.. etc) It's takes between 30 seconds to a minute to load and then some of the pictures are missing.

Anyone else having this issue?

Hahahah I had to test Jeep's claim that the "Geiser" was "trail tested". After standing it on its nose twice, launching it at every opportunity, sliding around corners on the E brake, slamming the bumpstops metal to metal numerous times and not breaking the solid axle in half or taking off a knuckle, I think it's almost worthy of the "trail tested" claim. I tried it without the sway control, but the ultra-short wheelbase made it a little too dangerous and I got out of shape a few times, in the dust and almost flipped it over. My bro almost had heart failure, so I left it switched on the rest of the trip. I sure gave the body control ECU a workout, thats for sure I'll have something bigger for the next trip, and I will beat shit outta that too
