We Made it 10 MILES before a Heim failure left us critically wounded. We had the parts we needed in BOLA but could not make it back in time to fix before the first checkpoint closed... Disappointing to say the least.
Sorry to all for the bottle neck at RM10, and thanks to the class 3 guys for pushing the 2WD truck that was pushing the dead expedition that was trying to drag us up out of the vally....

What cracks me up is almost across the board at every race, somewhere I run into Philo! So, we were heading south and stopped for gas in San Quintin. I was filling the tank when I saw Philo zipping across the station lot heading my way... it's always nice to see a face you know out in the middle of nowhere! It was great running into him there!

This is a great link... if you haven't gone over to read some stories... take a few minutes and scan it... it provides some great insights to some of the racing! Very interesting read. Take the time to read the input from #723 about the chase accident on highway 1 south by Chalapa. Tragic... my thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of those who have lost. This is yet just another example of how dangerous the roads and traveling in Mexico can be. We just can't be in a hurry!

Prayers out to all involved in the chase crash. But for the grace of God, coulda been any of us! Great time dumping fuel in the Kia and the 300 Bronco, as well as all the other BFG cars at Puertocitos. Sucked wondering why no Bronco until an hour after the Kia, but the Moss crew sure knows what to carry and how to get it done. Bummer the Kia couldn't finish, but here's hoping Bob keeps after it until he gets one and he is sure due!! Biggest bummer was the Moore effort coming apart as was looking for a within time finish for them this year too. You don't ever beat baja, it just lets some through! Viva Baja!

This is a big hit on RDC. The video proves it. What SCORE will/wont do about it will be interesting to see. That and the video of him charging through a camp, no horns or siren between tents and campers at full speed after missing a turn-off would be enough for me to send him home with no trophy.yikes wrote:robertcrav wrote:Just saw this on FB....uh oh....

Yup...... Looks like a long ratchet or something trying to adjust the LED bar. Dumb move on his side.
