Mark sent me a couple "progress" shots. I feel terrible...about all the fun I've had in the Bronco! Haha! What a mess. Mark and his dad have done an amazing amount of work just preparing for the cage. Very impressed with their approach in making sure all systems are functioning correctly prior to tear-down. These pictures don't even begin to tell the story. Wish I could have provided a better foundation, but WOW! I really beat the piss out of that thing.

What a weird world we live in. A vicious circle.
Mark is building Brian's cage.
Brian did work on my beams and built my old bumper.
I've done work for Geoff at Giant.
Geoff has built stuff that Mark has installed.

Solid body mounts and no cage will do that everytime.yikes wrote:Mark sent me a couple "progress" shots. I feel terrible...about all the fun I've had in the Bronco! Haha! What a mess. Haha! Maybe I should be scared more often. My problem is a skewed frame of reference from my DH racing days. If my eyeballs weren't floating, then I wasn't going fast enough. Maybe my senses are numb. Haha! If only the Bronco could say "Hey!! Ouch!! Take it easy on me!!".MOSS2 wrote:Wow im surprised you havent gone through more seat mounts if you are pushing that hard on the floor boards! Scare yourself much?

Maybe you need the Night Rider Kitt upgrade on your Bronco.

Re: Brian's '96
When a friend of mine asked Carl Renezeder how he was able to drive at such ridiculous speeds he answered something like, "Basically, I drive as fast as I possibly can, keep the pedal to the floor until everything around me is a blur. When I can't see anymore I let off the gas, let the truck touch ground for a split second and get back on the gas."yikes wrote:Haha! Maybe I should be scared more often.
