Yes, that's our company. We're still selling those bases, but getting close to finishing the entire jack. Then the base will no longer be an accessory that bolts onto an accessory. We're also developing an inline cabin air filter so it's not necessary to run the A/C in order to get dust-free air flow.

I have nerer seen or cannot visualize a situation wher a bottle jack would not work. In the silts/sand some blocks of wood will help.
Try using your cool Al floor jack in Matomi in the rock pile. Then get it engaged and find out it does not have enough lift to get the tire off the ground. Just like a bottle jack blocks of wood are necessary.
Ever tried to find a place to store the floor jack in or on your rig? Yup, a custom rack & brackets cost as much as the jack and then some.
To each his own choices.

PS I carry a 48" HiLift in case I ever need it. And I actually used it once when I ran out of wood blocks, rocks & sticks in soft sand. My last stuck I had to use it to raise the trailer high enough to release it from the truck. sigh.
It can be used to push or pull the rig out of a hole or away from a rock wall when one screws up. Its a dangerous thing to use. PW

This is what I carried in the bed of the ranger...just used two lug nuts to bolt it to the floor.
It's a combo of a jack stand and bottle jack, it has worked great for me. you can adjust the height of the jack stand to reach your jack point, then use like bottle jack.

You could have a good point Robert but website says 11" minimum so I'm thinking you're *Usually* good with it. Cool option either way

The jack I reach for first is the Baja Designs Kwik Jak HD. Light, easy to use, and fits in a gear bag. Of course, it needs to have a charged CO2 bottle, so I always carry a backup.

Backup number one is a Craftsman aluminum floor jack, but it's bulky and I don't carry it all the time.

Failing those two I still carry the stock mechanical jack that came with my 4Runner, but I need to mod the base and the lifting saddle to be more off-road worthy.

I like it. I've often considered making something like that for my jack... better than a big wobbly block.

I've seen a few home brew setups for that & have one on my "will get to one day" list, but haven't seen anything else for sale as a part or kit like the one above.

Pep boys sells a SUV jack by powerbuilt with 2 removable inserts similar to this idea, it's like 100$ or so.
