My oil pressure does funny stuff.... But I'm pretty sure the gauge is right. The 351w will go in soon...

Well my stock gauge shows pressure but my vdo shows nothing. I am guessing it's the connection.

my stock showed good. my Stewart Warner shows. 60 cold on worm up and 20 constantly after

Thanks guys! Glad the pictures and trip write up are motivation, that's what I like to hear!

Randy, some close coordinates that will get you close enough to the lava tubes are 35.2122, -115.7537. The tubes are pretty much in the middle of the trail, so keep that in mind.

Nice report! I cant wait to get the polarcub back in action! So you can pick up the trail at Yermo? I have never really messed around in that direction. My kids would get a kick out of the lava tubes. I think this will be a must do for me this fall!

Those lava tubes are amazing! Crawled thru some before that were tiny, but never seen anything like that! Need to do the Mojave Road again and check those out, thanks.

Awesome story and pics mike, even with all the troubles you had it still seems like you had a good time thats what counts. I see your looking for a spare tire carrier i have one and work with a couple guys who live in simi. Let me know its yours if you want it.

I will need to plate the lower section of the swinger to the bumper like the old one was, other then that and a jack mount, it's done!

Swing away gas can mount is also in the works, it's going to be stupid simple, so simple I hope it works as well as it does in my head

Oh yeah, I also saw a grey lifted superduty with a white bed with 300 numbers on the back window yesterday, in Simi off Cochran by the Sycamore Del Taco. Just though I'd throw it out there.
