We actually ordered 20, and four were for the Bronco. Unfortunately Method could only supply us with 12... but due to the really thick hub/center they don't fit on the race truck! We need longer studs to get these on...

Not sure what we are going to do yet. The Mint is a couple days away so we put some old BTRs we had back on and I am using these to test fitment on my truck. I've also got to machine a couple in case we need them as spares. I'm hoping if I machine them for a tapered nut we will have enough thread depth to make them safe.

17x9 Method Race Beadlock. This is the non forged wheel.

Tires are 37" Generals.

Man those wheels and tires look awesome! I can't wait to get some Methods on my '79 Bronco. I think it's possibly my favorite wheel and that's including the Alcoas which I really like. I gotta admit that the methods look really bad ass with Red Label Grabbers.

Did a little more work on my coil over mounts today. I need to get a raised lower spring retainer as the flat one hits the beam on droop.

Got a new radio to install once I find room for it from TCM_GLX.

I also found out why the passenger seat is loose. Broken stud. For some reason everything keeps coming loose and cracking on the Bronco. Odd.

Are you building the engine cage or is it a kit?
My car is a hybrid; it burns gas and rubber.

I am building it. I originally bought a Giant cage but it wouldn't clear my tire on the rear tube due to the tire size/wheel offset/negative camber.

Hey Philo,
I take it you're going to pull the heater/air box to clear the 37's?

Boy I really like those Methods! I've actually considered getting a set... but common sense took over (just don't need them and the expense!)... but that doesn't mean I'm not jealous! :P

Are you putting new rubber on them as well? Is so, what are you going to run?

It's a 16x8 and the tires are a new non directional version of the Iroks. I've probably already said too much.. A little more wouldn't hurt, they're 36 inches.

I limited my up travel a little bit and also started trimming the box.

As you can see the negative camber is excessive on the passenger side and will shorten the life of the knuckles and bearings if it went farther. Limiting the bump also will give more room for the steering as it hits the frame before the beam does.
