HOLY COW!!! Lots of nice stuff going on. You are dropping a pretty penny on that rig right off the get go. Can't wait to see some action shot!!

Thanks, the project has definitely snowballed. In fact, I think we're about double my original budget

However, it'll be finished and there to enjoy. From here on out it's just maintenance, upgrading when something breaks or needs rebuilding.

So, in playing with the drivetrain today Mark discovered that the rear shaft was beat, had a bad joint and slider was even worse. I never like to pass up an "opportunity" to justify an upgrade that adds strength to the vehicle I'm relying on to carry me through the sticks... So when Mark recommended a custom driveshaft by Tom Woods I couldn't keep from embracing the upgrade! This is a beefier driveshaft with 1-ton joints and clearanced for long-travel. This goes under my "unexpected upgrade" list

Ends up I probably won't be heading up to KOH, at least not for as long as I had originally planned. If at all it'll be just for Saturday in my 99' Honda Civic beater. So it didn't make sense to pull the Bronco out of Mark's hands just for a day when we're still waiting on a fabbed rear bumper and a few other things.

Sorry, I've been very busy at work and we've been waiting on parts, dealing with a couple setbacks.

Notice anything special attached to the firewall? Mark was able to sort out the space issues!
