Wow that's pretty good Philo, it was NavyNuke's house. and the couple in the background are his parents.

So Sunday I was in Arizona for maybe an hour at the most and I talked to 5 different people. My buddy Tyler talked to 3 people. Everyone is so nice and inviting in AZ. Really makes me want to move out there honestly, but i'd need to do some research to see what kind of jobs are available out there.

BTW Philo I saw you driving multiple times this weekend in Laughlin, but was never close enough to wave you down.

Lots of nice people out here, housing is cheap too....

Very few good jobs though.

Excellent tie-down skills. Well done.

I love desert communities. Especially when it still looks like the desert except for the homes scattered about.

Finally got around to installed a set of DDM slim ballast HID kits I had in the garage on the Hella 4K's on the bumper.

Plenty bright but the load I am running on the old girl it too much so I am going to convert the other two to HID as well. Speaking of which I am missing a plug (the one that sits inside the light and connects to the bulb)

Image

Anyone got one lying around they aren't gonna use? I'll pay to get it sent out.

Thanks,

Mike

Tony shoot me a PM if you do with your email address and I'll shoot you a UPS label or some cash, whatever works for you and yes, next time I need a set I will definitely hit you up. I wanna keep it in the GFB family.

Ok got everything I need in yesterday to start the cage. (Passenger side A pillar is in)

Here are some pictures.

Some tabs, just in case :D

I am going to need two more of those bushing mounts eventually but that's phase two of the cage. (can't wait to do that part!!)

Sorry no pictures of the actual cage yet, just like I keep forgetting to grab the DMV paperwork for Chris, I can't remember to take pictures when I am working in the garage.

More pictures after a hopefully productive weekend.

Thanks for looking!

That is really weird - I just typed a reply (asking the same thing Tony did about the cage plate/bushings and saying I can't wait to see the progress), hit send & looked & I see Tony asked the same thing I did, but my post didn't go up.

Weird...

Poly performance.

So yeah as you can see, the cage will bolt thought the floor to the bushing mount. Then from the bushing I will tie the cage into the frame. Not how all the cool kids are doing it these days, but it should hold up!

I love to see updates on old White Lightning. And funny enough I actually miss my old ride but I'm happy to see you are still moving along with her Mike.

I can only imagine Chris, but at least she is getting used, abused, and worked on.

Also I had to sleeve the A pillar to get the damn thing to fit in there (if you read this Party Barge, sorry, I know I am not good enough).
