Solid body mounts...

Post by economig »

Sorry if there's been new developments with these, as far as somebody selling them now and i missed it. I've been away from site for awhile just cause i've been so busy with work & fam. I copied the drawings and was going to have some solid body mounts made soon but if somebody else has quicker access set up, i'd be glad to pay a reasonable price to pick some up. Send me a PM. i never had a tapatalk notification from this site, gonna see if i can add it to my phone

Thanks in advance

Not really many details Andy. I only PMed the 1st guy because that is what he requested people do. When Rob asked about material & price I posted up here. Nothing aside from that has been given out/posted.

My buddy doesn't do the forum thing so if people want a set - feel free to PM me & I'll "order them" (tell him to make another set) for you.

I am actually dropping off next week with Jason (Steve's buddy) a rear section of frame, body mount brackets and the core support mount brackets so he can adjust the body mounts he machined for me. So I believe they'll be new and improved since he'll actually have the physical frame brackets to work off.

One's he's done in the past were off of Yike's plans that he posted - so if any dimensions are wrong - yell at Brian

I wouldn't call them wrong but the curve in bend from the c channel frame seems to push the puck down just a tad Steve. Not a big deal but would be nice to shave that down and get it to fit super flush.

Well that's interesting. I don't recall any interferences. I'm open to suggestions for improvement though, because I'm getting ready to do a run of them. They're gonna be nice!

I'll take some pics Brian. No interferences on the mount brackets only on the rear pucks that mount directly on the c channel frame not on brackets.
