Re: EVENING WOOD
He needs to let off the gas in the air and tap the brakes. It would get that rear corner up.

Hmmmmm, a barge with wings.
Lucky he landed straight, that treeline would have slowed him down some if it went wrong.

Isn't that a fairly old truck? What was the advantage (slash idea behind) of the mezzanine setup?Nick wrote:

Re: EVENING WOOD
That rear suspension loads and distributes the weight to the chassis different, it also allows a better rate increase on the shocks/springs due to bell crank ratios. Seems to put the power down well by keeping the nose high and transferring weight to the rear tires.Phoenix0783 wrote:Isn't that a fairly old truck? Re: EVENING WOOD
The truck is 4 years old? Not more than that. Mexi's, mechanical ratio and weight distribution. It actually makes for a heavier chassis as the suspension loads are so much farther out on the frame.Phoenix0783 wrote:Isn't that a fairly old truck? By altering the position of the shocks on the rocker arms and the lengths of the arms you can change the motion rate of compression and extention (progressively higher or digressive). Its disadvantage is that its requires a stiffer chassis to accomodate the loads at the rear and is heavier. It is also complex to set up correctly, but if you get it right, it works very well. However, the setup most ppl use id less complex and easier to set up quickly (and easier to repair, no linkages, rocker arms, etc).

Re: EVENING WOOD
That truck is more than 4 yrs old, but that means nothing. Some of the best TT out there are a few years old Robby's, Norman's, Vanderway, etc etc
