Camburg Radius arm Pivot Boxes

Can someone Piont me in the direction as to where these Mount on my Frame rails... is there a pilot hole on the frame that i start with?? i've called and e-mailed camburg numerous times with no luck. and what size Nut and Bolts are being used on these? 1"1/2 by 1" ??

i use 1 1/4 grade 8 hardware.. and if they do call you back they will tell you to measure the wheelbase.. its a bit of a pain. I would loosly assemble everything and put the tire on. i ussally push everything forward about 1 1/2" or so. get close to bottomed out and check tire to fender clearance. i do it on the passenger side most times because of the ac and whatnot.. pm me or give me a call if you need any help.. and i have a few parts you may want too. Reminds me of a conversation that came up at the dinner table in Baja. Actually - the same dang thing was discussed, and when the guy finally got them on the phone they couldn't even be helpful enough to suggest measuring the wheelbase...
Some companies seem to be horribly lacking in customer service. The one that started this thread is one of the main ones covered in the conversation and one I have never liked to deal with

Push the the beam forward until it kisses the cross member when cycled..back it up a cunt hair(black one). Match the other side so the wheel base is the same.

Assuming beams on uniballs. If on bushings, a red cunt hair probably safer.

If they are anything like the Solo arms and pivot boxes, they should still use an existing hole in the frame for locating. Bolt on the pivot box with that one bolt hole, and then drill out the rest of the holes you need. Of course, before you start drilling it would be a good idea to make sure everything lines up.

Sorry to hear about the customer service from them...I wish I could say I didnt have a similar story but measuring the wheelbase is the best way. I had to adjust the location on mine after I had them installed at their shop....Keifer and Shockseals are steering you in the right direction. Take the time to do it right so you dont have to go mess with it later. In my case I was able to reuse some of the stock holes.
