Quick update guys.....
Chris, myself and Tom W have been working on putting together a chase book/package with all the details. The departure on Sunday will be an early one, in hopes to get to the TKT border and across early. Would like to leave HP ranch around 6am.
A few things to start considering:
1) Plan for packed breakfast and lunches (in other words, you will need to bring sandwich material, or something of that sort, as well as bfast material)
2) Plan to show up on Friday morning to Tom Webers spot, with a FULL TANK OF GAS, will not be stopping for fuel until friday evening, after the run from TKT to HP Ranch
3) Make SURE you have a race radio in your vehicle, frequencies will be provided a few weeks in advance to program. ( I can suggest a few if you need to buy one, and can help with the antenna install as well if needed)
4) If you have a GPS, we will be providing Lowrance File for the run we are doing
5) make SURE you have a passport, and bring it with you (trying to get back without one is HELL)

Re: BajaHID.com Excursion August 2011
A couple of questions guys:
1) I think I know who currently has a GPS (Nick, Steve, Tom, Buck, Bill, Chris, Vic), are any of those that do not have one planning to buy before the run?
2) Are any of you joining the run medic or EMT certified (just for general info)

Also, remember we are coordinating bringing donations to "el oasis". We have been told we can bring our donations (clothes, toys, etc) to HP Ranch and Todd will coordinate getting them to the Oasis!
