Rod,

What's the plan for your black bronco? Between Tony, Vic and myself we will salute you as a full fledge member of the Secret Society of Black Bronco Owners. The secret hi sign will be shown to you in Baja, ha ha ha. Way rad that you bought a Bronco for this Baja run.

Chris,
I am truly honoured to be a member, I will endevour to be worthy of your trust and friendship. Sorry it wasn't a 80 - 86, but for the price it will do me. I'm working on some budget upgrades... nothing too radical.
Front Bumper and lights (maybe a rear bumper too).
K&N dry flow air filter upgrade, Y pipe upgrade and 3" 2 chamber Flowmaster out the side.
Fan assisted trans cooler, spin-on filter, (maybe Punisher v/body/Transgo shift kit & MagHytek pan).
Rancho 4" drop-bracket kit w/ SWP radius arms and 5100 Bilsteins (will go Fox 3.0 C/O if budget permits).
Deaver J40's, SWP shackles and 5100 Bilsteins, or (Fox 3" x 12" bypasses if I can find some at the right price).
Alcoas or Outlaw II's with Hankook Dynapro MT's 32-11.5x15.
Garmin or Megallen GPS, Kenwood VHF Radio, some decent front seats (and a rear seat :D), a damn good detail and repair that shitty painted fender.
Thats the plan, subject to change and budget / parts availability. Not looking for lots of travel, want to have the ability to go hard, and soak up the rough stuff with ease and RELIABILITY! :D :D

Ok, we are good to go for staying at Horsepower Ranch, if that's what you guys want to do. I guessed 15 people, and was quoted $70-$75 per person. That would include rooms, dinner, breakfast, access to the shop for repairs, a crew for retrieval if needed.

What say you guys? When i spoke with Todd, he suggested to make reservations early, so that he could assure us the weekend that we want.

Nick,
Thank you for doing the research. At $70-$75 including dinner and breakfast, its a BARGAIN!! On top of that, the nostalgia associated with this place is awesome, so I am all for it.

Just as a reference, I had called a few hotels, and we were looking at an average of $90-$100 for a room (Split than into two, but no meals obviously).

Nick,
What will the reservation process be? Do we have to pay collectively? or can we each call and book once we are ready to go Nick?

*** We need to make a decision here within the next 7-10 day, so we can start booking a place to stay....

Oh I know. I'm joking as well. I can't fault you for your bad taste
And Chris and I go back and forth on this all the time. We joke but realize we have very different tastes in what looks good. It is what it is.

I've got an extra trans sitting that needs to be rebuilt. Works but slips pretty good. Good for a core at the least.
I'm just here for the views. It helps me feel wanted.
