Alright, lets get some energy going around this.

So far I have the following in and taking their rigs
Tom - Baja250
Chris - Baja broker
Randy - HTO
Vic- Jelly
T- tcm

Following coming, and looking for a ride:
Steve - Chasetruck
Au - From down under
AZ Chris - Philo

Any others claiming they want in? Where are the founding fathers on this???

I'm down... but I'm not sure I want to take one of my vehicles. I would have to get mexican auto insurance and my spanish is not up to par for checkpoints and such. I would also be looking at fuel for 1000-1200 miles... pricey trip for me. Probably $400 or so in the Bronco.

Update with Philo, as well as splitting out those taking a vehicle, and those looking for a ride

A couple of logistical items here guys......

Spanish is not required, the plan is to travel as a group, and so several of us that do speak spanish will be heading up the front, and rear of the caravan. I will likely start looking for hotels soon, so we can all get a group rate, and stay in the same place. You will require to have a PASSPORT to come back across the border, not having one means you will be stuck at US Customs on the way back, so if you need one, get on it now.

Pesos can be purchased before we get into mexico, and there are a few online companies that offer great insurance for the weekend, usually only $30-$50 bucks.

I'm a strong maybe for this one. If a buddy of mine can't make it, i'll have an empty seat.

Is that a hint, Philo? I'm not sure the airline will appreciate me trying to stuff a diesel straight axle Hilux in with my check-in luggage :D
Just saying... it's midway between here and there. It's also an easy way for me to title an Australian vehicle in the US...

Great... Hopefully a Ford Falcon XB is out of my price range. I don't need anymore cars.
