Those tires have a big sidewall... you could probably air down (truck and trailer) and drive to camp. But if you didn't want to mess with it you can park the truck and trailer on the street somewhere and take the Bronco. There are several places to park near my work if you want. Or behind the fence if you want it locked up.
I may give it a try, depends on the condition of the sand and if there is rain. I guess there is a gnar water crossing sometimes. Maybe I will score some better tires at Leduc. Looking for a set of 32-33" 16s. Maybe 285/75/16

No worries, Tom. You'll be missed, but if you can't make it... you can't make it. There will always be next time. Next year we'll do it in January. Early in the year before there's too much going on and people are spread thin.

yea, its gonna be our first trip out in the van. so stoked! i gotta work till 6 here in santa cruz so we're gonna head down after. should get there before they close the gate. i'll just drive around till i find you guys or get stuck, whichever comes first.

I may have to take you up on that Andy. We can keep in touch this coming week and work it out. I'm still gonna bug Karen about coming up, and even if she goes we might see if we can car pool with you. It'll give you and Lily someone else to talk to on the way up and back.
Sorry if I came off as a little hash when I thought this trip was falling apart. I enjoy the Pismo trips so much and I jumped the gun when I saw it crumbling before my eyes. I appoligize.
I belive Don Moss and family are coming so there's six there. I can't believe he was planning on bringing out the race Bronco to play but found out the Rangers aren't big race truck fans without a green sticker. That would have been fun.
My friends Jason and CT are all pumped for the trip. My friends Bob and John and wives are in as well for seven in my group.
Looks like more than three tri tips to me. I'm stoked again.
Now for those that can't make it this time I'm sorry you can't come. These are really fun trips. I think a July trip could be in order along with Philos suggestion for a meet along with the Off Road Heavy Metal weekend in September. The Score Primm date is now in August (oh boy, can anyone say heat stroke) so no conflict for me this year.
