Thanks guys! Not out of the woods yet. Gotta diagnose the scary noise and why the alternator isn't charging. Could be my electrical genius. The springs are way too soft. Thing is sitting 3-4" too low. Yeow! Maybe I should just put some super long shackles in the rear and call it a day.

You have a 3G alt correct? It is a way simple setup. Voltage sense and main output. Small photo but gets the job done:

Brian the height looks fine in the pic, 3-4" higher might be alot of lift and alignment issues. How much bump do you have right now?

Thanks Philo. My b-n-law stopped by and got me straightened out on it. I'll confess to my actions after a couple beers by the campfire at Pismo!

I should have taken a picture from the front. That picture was deceiving. It was sitting at 7+ dgr's camber. Interesting enough, I put 150psi of nitrogen in the shocks and gave the coils another 1/4" of preload, drove it around for 10-15 miles and now it's sitting almost where it was before all this chaos began. I'm a happy guy! The back end was super stiff and needed a few good hits to loosen it up.

The front. Still a tad low, but i think I'll go a little longer on the shackles to compensate.

By the way, never drive on or extend your uncharged shocks. You'll need to check them for air now.

B,
Too much toe-in will lower the front end 2"-3" easy with coilovers.

If 1.25" shaft every 100 psi = 123 lbs of shaft force (preload)
If 1.00" shaft every 100 psi = 78 lbs of shaft force(preload)

Easy way to cheat for wrong spring rate.

They're 1.125" shafts... so somewhere in the middle.
