Thanks Joel. Still trying to figure out what I can afford. I was thinking about the 6100's. Would the above be a good setup, or can I custom order the 6100's with the custom valving as well to match the Bronco specific 5100 valving? Or would I even be gaining much with the 6100's over the 5100's. Confused yet? I know I am.

Got the Bronco back a couple weeks ago. 4.56 gears and a true Trac in the rear. Got a CB and stereo for Xmas from the wife and got those put in today. Scored a set of Alcoa's with decent 31's on them for $50! Now I have to decide if I wanna strip the clear and polish them or powder them. Pretty rough shape, years of brake dust caked on, bubbled clear, and moss and mold. But for that price, I'm not complaining. Gonna start on a bumper this week.

Still waiting on my truck to sell for suspension stuff.

Strip those wheels down and powdercoat them clear. You could polish them but then it's gonna take alot of upkeep to keep them cherry.

Didn't know they had clear powder. I was thinking black if I powdered them. Thanks for the tip.

it'll look way nicer with polished alum. black looks really good but only if you are from so-cal

Yes they look much better polished, but yes it takes a lot more maintenance to keep them looking nice like that.

Started on a bumper today. Still need a couple more tubes, light bar, light tabs, skid plate and paint. Also, the wheels I picked up. Have located another $50 set that are supposedly in perfect shape, so not doing anything with these just yet.

Well bumpers done. Still haven't wired the lights. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Will look better when the broncos on 35s I'm sure!

Picked up some 2wd Super Duty arms. Looks like they'll work real well. Slowly collecting parts. When I get some more money I'll get all the rest of my parts including beams and coils from BajaScott.

Haha! I'd love to fund your trip. Trying to sell stuff sucks right now. Been a little distracted lately with holidays and our baby will be here any day or hour now! But getting back on advertising the thing. Was hopin to sell it earlier so the baby wouldn't take any of my bronco money!
