OctDunerFest Glamis CA, October 22nd-24th

Post by RyanDS650X »

This is an annual party my racing buddies throw and is an open invite to all that want to come. We started this about 10 years ago and it get bigger and badder ever year.
Saturday night dinner is catered by Famous Dave's BBQ out of yuma.
Event tshirts and dinner is $40 if you care to join us.
For $50 you get dinner tshirt and 10 raffel tickets for saturday nights raffle. Past years raffles have included-
500GB portable Hard drive
19inch LCD monitor
Protaper handlebars
MC tires
Gear bags
helmets
Goggles
Camelbacks Back packs
Fatty Patty and midget blowup doll.....
We are mostly bike quad and SxS riders many people have rails and go fast trucks also. Were all in our late 20's early 30's and a few OLD guys peppered in also.
This event IS NOT children friendly, Saturday night has been know to host pit bike jousting wars, fire dancers and truck pulls so consider yourself warned!

Its alot of fun and there is tons of riding to do. Saturday evening we all usually roll out to the sand drags and run what cha brung.
Hope some of you can attend. This will be the maiden voyage for me and my Bronco and would be sweet if a few more could show up and roll out together.
Is it October yet?!?!?

Looks like fun, gotta love Glamis, air your tires down to about 12 lbs and you'll be able to drive anywhere you want, even 2x works at those pressures. Use to go every turkey day for a week, have a blast!

The trip was awesome, had a great time smashin around in the sand. I didnt take many pics this time but i got a few. I was in 2 wheel drive most of the weekend which kinda bummed me out. The spring in the passenger side axel that keeps it in the diff came out and was sitting sideways in the u joint and i didnt want to disassemble the hub and take out the axel in the sand so i just aired the rears down and kept my foot in it.We did a little swimmin in the canal and hit the drags on saturday night, thats always a good time I just had to keep my speed up at the start of the drags so i didnt get stuck. I did manage to get stuck in camp 4 times though..... Thanks to Ken (Navynuke) for coming to the rescue, he sure did get a kick out of it! Ive gotta resize all the pics but ill get them up later
