Bray's 96 Sleeper
Re: Bray's 96 Sleeper
Well, looks like Photofucket took a big growler all over this build thread (and others all over the interwebs).
Not a very productive way to get your users to sign up for a paid subscription IMO.
I dont see how anyone willing to pay the fee would have confidence this company will even be in business going forward;
antipathy is high toward these bastards and rightfully so.
Since there is no edit feature, I will likely start a new thread once i get her back from paint.
Adios for now Amigos

Everyone needs to just get Google Chrome then the plugin to see all the photobucket pics.
Just read through this entire thing, exactly how I want mine to end up one day, super nice build.

Rad, thanks for the heads up! just tried it and it works. I'm in incognito mode which requires an extra step, but once I noticed the "allow in incognito" check box for the specific plugin I was good to go! Bray and others will be stoked!
Re: Bray's 96 Sleeper
Finally got around to setting up another hosting site and now have an excuse to post some updates.
Huge thanks to Richer Racing, Jonny, CHO, Mike. Once again showing their ability to deliver clean, robust and unique work.
Thanks also to Leighlan for an awesome job on the AC, and Curt at CRB for his part in finishing off the front end with inner fender liners and some final touches on the tin work.
Props to Oscar of Polishing Proz for all the beautiful powdercoat and Danny at Romero's Custom Polishing for the work making the skids look pretty.
Last but certainly not least- gracias to the best Ford parts guy around.

I didn't know what to do with her so eshiney and clean, so I thought it over and decided meeting Pops at KOH up in Johnson Valley and getting her dirty was the best course of action....

Re: Bray's 96 Sleeper
RUSTY SOCKET CAP SCREWS!!!!
Re: Bray's 96 Sleeper
Had a window of opportunity to shake down the new Richer built engine cage and CHO's first 2" over J-Beams, single swinger steering, all the HOWE goodies and Solo pivot mounts.
What a difference- very impressed with the improvement. Cant wait to get it back out for an extended run and dial it in.....

Awesome truck. I’ve got such a long way to go. Haha
Who makes that air-box? I haven’t seen that before.

Re: Bray's 96 Sleeper
what AC drier did you end up with and remote hose? Custom made hose? Any notes on fittings/sizes/etc...if custom. I need to move mine.

Re: Bray's 96 Sleeper
Awesome build for sure. Who built the rear bumper and what axle shafts are you running in your TTB
94 FSB 5.8/e40d, 6"Procomp stage II lift, 4.88 gears, front aussie locker, 35"bfg AT,Eddy efi intake and JBA headers. custom front bumper with a warn HS9500, custom sliders.
Re: Bray's 96 Sleeper
Thanks for the good words gents; she is kinda sexy in grey- may need to name her 50 Shades......
Yes Willie, CHO built for 37's up front and also trimmed the Heater box.
I am not sure about the rear and decided to stick either 35's for a few reasons (for now eh)
1. It's geared and tuned for 35's.
2. I'm happy with the power and don't want to sacrifice there
3. Weight, she is a big old bitch and weighed in at 5460 with no top, toolbox, spares, rest seat, bumpers or skid plates.
Fully expect her to top 6k. The Alcoa / BFG combo is about as light as it gets for 35s.
4. My new place has a low slung parking garage so I am about 1/4" from clearing as it is.
Mag Mount antenna = necessity
