Slappy Style Go Fast with Dana 44/50 hybrid beams....
I had a small flex pipe mocked up to soak up movement but it looked like garbage and would have been a weak link and a pain to replace... I built everything to be easily removable with v-bands, the merge collector also has interlocked slip together "expansion" joints with springs so the pipes can grow with heat/exhaust pressure, I doubt they are even necessary with a 7 pound spring in the wastegate but its cool to have the extra insurance. This weekend I plan on building the mounts, adding the wastegate and starting the charge side but we'll see what happens.

Welded all the hotside pipes up,rubber mounted the turbo to the engine cage, and installed the wastegate...my fabwork probably isn't on par with some of the DR or Instagram superstars but dgaf...I did it myself, I own the work, and it will probably work, most of the time lol.

Just a heads up to all.....Robert at auto fab will be doing a front clip to fit 37 39 and 40 to match rear glass. Spirit is leading the way on this one.

The last truck I did this to had an open gate and it was ridiculous! I am hoping to have this thing be "nice"....not looking for crazy loud but the blowoff valve should be a bit of a crowd pleaser hahaTHEJESUS wrote:shoulda done open waste gate! cant wait to see how this turns out

I've always thought it would be funny to hook up some sort of whoopie cushion type thing to a blow off valve. So instead of the uber ricey wahpssssssh you get with the typical, loud blowoff valve you'd get a big fart sound at each pressure release. Would be fun for about 2 minutes and then I'd rip it off I bet, but it's an idea I've had & wanted to try for years!

I'll throw a duck call on it for ya when I get it running hahaha... Here's the progress from today...tailpipe go's to the rear wheelwell, waiting for some parts before I finish it out the bedside up high...also built a decent secondary mount for the turbo off the intake manifold that isn't super exciting but is functional...
As of right now I am bleeding brakes, doing light assembly on other stuff, and putting together an intercooler game plan in my head which is proving to be a challenge since I want everything to look like I know actually what I'm doing.

This thing has a 205 t-case in it and I would like to do a twin stick on it since I'll be able to separate the front/rear drives independently if I get in a pinch, also the ability to do front dig burnouts sounds awesome lol ...anybody have experience with something like that. I have found the kit on bronco graveyard for the older models but not this bodystyle.
Also built the second turbo mount and hung the first part of the tailpipe, not super exciting but its functional and rubber mounted for the vibrations.
And thanx for the continued "customer support" Willie, you're the man...cleared a lot of questions up yesterday.

Through the wheels on, rolled it out and got the interior 80 percent heatshielded/sound deadened today, just got the meticulous stuff left to do....also put the top back on, set the interior stuff back in, and made it look like a truck again....also have the intercooler on order and JD fab is building me a twin stick shifter for this thing, hoping that's all in next weekend.

This should look sweet up front and give the engine bay a little candy.
