Swapped out the amber driving cubes I had for some Baja Designs S2's in the grille. These are some powerful little lights.





Output shot. Still need to aim these things.



Also, since I put the shell on, I had to figure something out for a rear facing amber. Originally I wanted to do a flush mount S2 in the tailgate, but then went with the simpler, less expensive option, and swapped out one of my rear facing flush mount cubes with an amber lens and ran separate power to that one so each light can be switched independently. It's a little lower than I'd like for a dust light, but I'm just gonna run it until I come up with a better idea. I'm sure it will work just fine.

Got the fenders/hood painted. Pretty psyched to have a truck that's all the same color again. Fenders/hood are just a touch whiter than the rest of the truck, but I guess thats 20 year old paint for you. Hopefully they'll get closer as time goes by.

Also swapped in a Sag pump and bracket. Great little upgrade. Really great improvement in steering ease/feel for a pretty minimal investment!

Swapped tailgates for one without the trim piece. Hit this one with the clay bar and a little touch up paint, and then slapped on an F-150 badge. Gonna do a Ford Badge on the lower right side similar to the F-250 powerstroke.

Thoughts on a flush mount Baja Designs S2 amber on the left upper corner for a dust light?

Been sorta letting the truck sit lately...would like to get my camber issue figured out so as not to chew through the new tires. Got something cool in the works though.

Just snagged these on Monday night. Wasn't really planning to do bedsides for a little while, but when a deal on new Autofab bedsides comes up, you gotta jump on it.

Decided it was time to take the rear window off my shell and repaint the frame, replace all the rubber weather stripping, and slap new struts and locks on it. It wasn't bad before, but it sure is nice now...make the shell look like a new shell again.

Can't wait to see this thing in person. I was a bit worried it would look too wide for the fenders with the added width from the hubs, but I actually don't mind it.

Been chipping away at getting these bedsides hung. Definitely a bit of a PITA, especially since I want to retain the use of my tailgate, but this bed should look perfect once the sides are hung, and everything has been spray lined.

Had a fun trip out to Ocotillo Friday/Saturday.



Got the hub centric 'burg center caps mounted up



Truck ran great with the new steering, but ran into a fuel pressure issue late Friday night. Was mashing through some decent sized whoops at about 60 when I lost fuel pressure. Engine cut out and couldn't get it to fire back up. Checked the inertia switch, checked the fuel filter for a clog, all fine. Can hear the fuel pumps priming when I turn the key to the on position, but not getting pressure at the rails. Fuel lines don't seem to have any pinches/holes anywhere. So had to call the AAA chase truck for a ride home:



Had a chance to go for a hot lap in the CHOnco...that thing is amazing. So fun riding in that beast!





All in all a fun weekend...wish I could have driven home under my own power, but I guess of all the reasons to take a flatbed home, this is probably the least of a big deal.

So here's the new access hole for the rear tank. Just gotta get a patch panel to use as the cover, and install some 1/4" rivnuts so I can fasten it down.



Still chipping away at mounting the bedsides. Passenger side is mostly done. Just need to fit the taillight, and get some bedside supports made. Hopefully the drivers side will go a bit quicker now that I know how much i have to cut off.
