HuckFEAST 2016
When: The weekend of 16, January 2016
Where: Oceano Dunes
Hucking: Possible. You might even call it likely. Although, ever since The King was crowned and subsequently graced the centerfold of Off-Road Magazine (with yours, truly), few step up to the plate.
Feasting: An absolute.
Camping: Optional
Details: Undetermined at this time.
Time is at a premium these days and people seem to have a hard time committing to a weekend of fun, so we might take this back to the old school... a day gathering with whatever ensues.
Also, I just spent way too much time looking for a photo of our first gathering. That had to be, what? 2006? Man, are you guys getting old! Who remembers eating at Fin's? Rick starting the morning right with a Bloody Mary... I remember thinking, "Damn it! This guy is fu#@ing cool!" Remember when Ollie used to sleep in the bed of his truck!? Yup. He didn't always require sleeping quarters generally reserved for Arabian prince! What about Rick's birthday bash? GoFastBrownies? Costco Tequila? Tazers? Park Rangers? Police reports... oh man. If that sand could talk!

Corrected the date... not sure what I was thinking.
I always love it when John shows up... ranger, cot, sleeping bag. Good to go!

Re: HuckFeast 2016
I plan to be there with the old trailer and the family camping on the beach for the weekend. With a group or by ourselves, the family is looking forward to it. The Hoon Racing guys had already scheduled the same weekend so they may wander in or vice versa. As always, I am curious if the creek is running again. Always fun towing that low rider trailer through there.

I'm going to roll out after I get off duty Saturday AM......
Not the creek, but the Pier Street entrance during the last storm December 12-13th... virtually no beach and a 6-7' wall where surf washed away the sand! Sea Water up to the asphalt.

Huckfest was cancelled. Not to be confused with HuckF-E-A-S-T, which is still on.

After being accosted by Kelly at the local watering hole, I'll be making a point to come find the GFB group sometime next weekend. Apparently I'm in real physical danger if I don't
I'll be there hopefully Sunday-Monday if all goes well with the UC4X4 guys.
