I lengthened the axle 4.5 inches just to see the angle it went threw the beam, going to make a cut at 90 degrees from that angle and install some bent plate and plate over the whole beam, I'll post pics as I go and try to show progress, did this earlier.

That's a good plan but I'd tack it up and assemble everything With the knuckle etc so make sure everything is good before final welding and plating

That is definitely the plan, going to cut it with a sawzall to try to keep it as straight as possible

Pulled in a old bronco frame I've been saving for the mock up of the beams, got the drivers side set up now.

If you guys see something I'm missing let me know please, I'm trying not to have to cut the lower ball joint ear as I only want about 2-2.5 inches of lift in the front.

Hey I am wanting the exact same thing. 2.5-3" max-- so I'm guessing the top gap is 4.5" and the bottom about 5" to give you the camber correction??

Camber correction is done at the lower ball joint, I believe you can do it the way you are describing but the diff has to be clocked then. I have the pass side beam done too already, post some pics later, I'm not looking for a lot of lift in mine, so I was hoping I wouldn't have to cut my lower ball joint ear, but it looks like I will anyways.

Axles lengthened

Is the passenger one sleeved right where the axle usually goes through the window? Might add clearance issues.
