Not using this thing the way I wanted and I am thinking about putting it up for sale. I need opinions on what would be a realistic price to ask. Truck is fairly dialed. I recently added dual tranny coolers with temp gauge, remote trans filter, sidewinder shifter, remote oil filter and ump air filter. Also juanco reprogrammed it. The engine has 116,000 on it and runs perfect, Trans has less then 1000 on it.

So I bought some brand new projects and I can't drive my truck now because of the tire wobble. I can't call it death wobble because it seams to happen more at lower speeds. The guy that mounted the tires said that they couldn't be balanced. I had the same size projects on before unbalanced with 60% tread and no issues. Why is this happening with the new tires? I am going to start by replacing the heims but they are fairly new. It seams like i have heard something about tow in or out that helps? Looking for suggestions.

I would question whether or not the tire is centered on the beadlock

You can buy the bean bag internal balancing deals ( sorry not sure what the true name of them are). It basically works as the wheel spins the beads are transfer to the spot in the wheel that need weight. if that is truly the problem. Not where you live, but try 4whl parts or your best bet would be PARKHOUSE Tire they have plenty of locations in SoCal. Main one is in BELL.

The reveal from the beadlock ring to the first line on the tire is perfect so I think they are mounted correct. Parkhouse in Escondido mounted them and said that was as good as it gets. I will start looking for internal weights and try that.

They are called balance beads I believe... and I think many have used air soft pellets with a small amount of antifreeze

Are they radials or bias ply? Bias ply will get flat spots from sitting and eventually smooth out after rolling down the road for a bit.
Equal is the silicate balance stuff used in over the road tires. I've had success with coolant in my old rock crawler but not sure if it'd be right for a gofast rig. The idea is called dynamic balancing, folks have used everything from bbs, buck shot, golf balls, tennis balls ect. Theres a company out there that manufactures a ring that sandwiches between the hub and wheel that has weight in the ring that does the same thing, may or may not help you out. Good luck.

Donn you may have already checked this but ....also make sure the passenger side beam privet is not loose the 4 bolts can sometimes work loose can cause issues or pivot can crack or break as well.

also some times the holes at the beam bolt location can open up and cause movement.

Both should be checked often like hiems ball joints etc...

this is just a reminder and one more thing to look at to say no it not that ...hah

Thanks for the input. Based on the fact that it didn't start until I put on new tires I am going to start there and make sure they are balanced correctly.
