Here is before I built the bumpers.
So anyway, here is my story. I had a 97 f-150 4x4, off road package, I put rancho shocks and pro comp mt's on it and a bumper with some kc's. It was a fun truck. I hammered it in the desert. Until one day recently, when I grenaded the motor, and didn't want to spent the money to fix it. I sold the f-150 with blown 5.4 for 800 bucks. I thought about it for a while, and was thinking about getting a 2wd f-150 and prerunnering it.
But after some thought I decided I needed a 4x4, and I wanted something tough and fast in the desert. My dad has a 95 bronco, stock, it is white and we always called it the Juice. I hammered it in the desert a couple of times, and I could tell it had potential.
I found this 95, the guy said the tranny was slipping and it needed a fuel pump. He was asking 950, I offered 800 and he took it.
I was able to get the beast started, limped it home, and started to work. It turns out that most of the problems were that the MAP sensor was unplugged, and the headlights weren't grounded.
So I went through everything, and changed all the hoses, and fluids, new belt, tires balanced.
I removed the sway bars.
I removed the bumpers.
I removed the running boards, and exhaust.
It came with a 4" lift of unknown origin, it had blown rancho shocks, and it has stock radius arms. I got a set of bilstien 5100s all the way around just to get it driveable..
Gutted the front cat, removed the rear, and slapped on a 3" magnaflow.
Bumped the timing to 13.5
running 87 octane.
It came with some stupid looking wheels, I painted them black. In fact I rattle canned the whole thing flat black, because I am just going to scratch it up anyway.
Running 33 12.50 15's bfg at's.
Anyway my goal is cut an turned ttb, coil overs, bypasses and deavers in the back, trussed 8.8 with 4.56 rears and 35" tires, cage, Im running the stock E4OD. I also want to build a hot rod motor for it.
Cash is tight, so I may take me a while to get this thing all the way done.
I am a noob for sure on all this stuff. I have learned much from you all so far, and I will post more updates and pics as I proceed with this beastly build.
