CFM I am working on

with the ump style or Donaldson style the fit is a issue for me due to MAF meter it may need to be big to flow the CFM needed for the motor and cage space location is the issue along with keeping it as far away moving parts and heat...

They look cool till you look at theflow rates. The largest one is good for 240CFM clean. It only goes downhill from there.

I got 548.4 CFM for a 351 @. 6000rpm

I think 2- donaldson G090225 would be the best route

They are $140ish

I get 610 at 100%VE

Also, the flow ratings are at 25" of vacuum. You want about 3-4" clean and 7-8" dirty so the actual flow numbers will be much lower than what is on the chart.

Glad Brian (Partybarge) chimed in here as he's gone over this stuff a bit as you can see. He seems to know the UMP stuff off hand, but my guess is their info for the different filters is on their site.

I do remember Brian saying in the past that for a mildly built 351, you'd need 2 of their larger filter assmeblies to keep up with the airflow needs.

If I remember correctly, the filters that UMP uses are good for about 340CFM at 5" of Vacuum. Also, ditching the "safety filter" on the Donaldson filters will give about 25% more flow. They are not really needed for our app unless you are really not into maintaining your vehicle.
