I have thousand of Baja miles on the current glass set up with no cracks yet (knock on wood). That autofab glass if amazing when it comes to durability.

Yea my glass is mcneil. The previous owner is the one who cut the hole and its not even round. After I bought it I only drove it a few times around the block before I tore it down but noticed it was cracked. Started to check it out a little better and sure enough they tried to fiberglass a piece of wood between the wheel opening and exhaust opening. So im just gonna put a piece of aluminum there to help ridgen it up and hide the chunk of glass missing.

That chunk missing on the bottom is just a gel coat pop. Nothing to do with the exhaust.
McNeil bedsides crack & pop there a lot. My ranger bedsides have the same thing.

Pretty sure these are Glassworks bedsides on my tacoma. I ran my exhaust is really close to the glass = touching pretty much. I actually held up the tip to it & ground the hole to the exact tip shape and no issue here. Been like that for years now.

That looks nice. Wish mine was just the gel coat but its not. The fender is actually broke there.

Weak spot in the fenders. They flex there a bunch & crappy gel coat jobs like McNeils (all 3 different brands) will crack & pop.

I have helped out in Baja with Perry Senior and he is a nice guy. His fiberglass was nice but don't know the younger guys. I have run John's from Autofab's fiberglass on my Bronco for almost 15 or so years. The only cracks in mine are of my own doing but still in good shape. If you are racing Fiberworx thin stuff but on a daily driver you can't beat the quality of Autofab.
