Thank you everybody for the kind words. I took 7th overall which was a victory for me, considering doing the L's swap and paint work and a new clip In about 25 long days. The truck runs like a striped ape. Makes 350 wheel horse 350 torque and does 108 miles an hour at 5900 rpm in 3rd gear. Also this is a 4 SPD trans. The trans and transfer case 4l80 to 1356 worked awesome. I can't thank steve Culhane at Culhane racing transmissions enough!!

I was slow enough that the fast guys ran away from me and I was fast enough to run away from the slow guys. So I got to run my own clean race at my rookie pace. This was my first time driving in a race.
The bronco needs a couple more rounds of shock tuning. At the mimium slow down rear rebound. Will make the truck a lot easier to drive I believe. Then I need lots of driver training!

Awesome Mike! Good to hear you pumped it out & got to enjoy it. Hopefully you had enough spare moments in the LS swap to take a pic or 2.

Does Culhane have the parts for the 4l80 to 1356 available now?

That's a yes and no question. Can he do it? Yes. Is it all custom? Mostly yes. Lol so as of right now ryan made 2 custom 300m heat treated output shafts. I have one and the other is sitting on a shelf for one of culhanes friends I believe that owns a bronco. Im sure if someone went down there with cash steve could start to put together a trans for someone.

Sweet pics, nice job on the race too. On the culhane note that dude is very proud of his stuff, not that it isn't bad ass just expensive. Was the race ran with the Chevy engine?

Thanks brian, you rock!

Yes the race was run with the chevy putting down 350 wheel horse power through the Culhane 4l80.
The truck is plenty fast, for now ;)
